This is for kage, that egged me on and on to do this. Finally, inspiration struck while I was at school, and I plunged in to write this in an hour. Editing took about half an hour, and it was done.

What if Erik and Charles are in the same University, but the thing is that 

1. Their university teaches in a language that BOTH of them don’t understand.

(Like my PE teacher who went to Germany and had to learn German to even take the course)

2 Charles doesn’t speak Yiddish/Hebrew and Erik doesn’t speak a word of English. AT ALL.

But sparks (somehow) fly when they meet each other on campus. Awkward attempts at introducing themselves ensue.

ANYWAY THIS IS WHAT GOT ME EXCITED ABOUT THIS IDEA:

Charles gets the idea to use his telepathy to make it easier to understand Erik and for Erik to understand him, even without any common language.And so he is kind alike,

*sticks ‘may I read your mind?’ into google translate*

*hands Erik the badly translated Hebrew translation of that*

and yeah maybe when Erik realizes that Charles can read minds he gets all excited and shows off his metallokinesis and FUCK YEAH WE CAN SHOW OFF OUR POWERS. MUTANT BONDING NEEDS NO WORDS YAY

or something. But mostly I wanna see them exploring comunicating telepathically and having fun in their little university AU.
